In keeping with the Balfron Local Place Plan, Strathendrick Baptist Church has a vision to provide a community hub for the village and surrounding area. We have just taken on the lease of the old registry office and plan to transform it into The Beacon. This will be a place where everyone can come together, share experiences, have needs met, and build lasting connections.

We are committed to consulting with the community to plan services that cater to diverse needs, such as Baby/Toddler Groups, Youth Groups, Drop-in services, Warm spaces in winter, Craft/Hobby/Special Interest groups, Community meeting spaces, and various Community events. Collaboration with other local groups will be essential in making this vision a reality.
However, we face significant challenges. The building has been neglected over the years and requires substantial refurbishment efforts. We need new flooring, new windows, roof repairs, internal and external decoration, kitchen installation, garden landscaping, and much more. To achieve our goal of raising £25,000 GBP for these vital improvements is crucial.
